Commercial Equipment Direct Assistance Program (CEDAP)

CEDAP helps meet the equipment needs of smaller jurisdictions by providing communications interoperability, information sharing, chemical detection, sensors, PPE, technology, and training in using the equipment, devices and technology.  Awards are made to law enforcement and emergency responder agencies not currently eligible for funding through the department’s Urban Areas Security Initiative grant program.

FEAM provides FMA funds to assist states and communities implement measures that reduce or eliminate the long-term risk of flood damage to buildings, manufactured homes, and other structures insurable under the National Flood Insurance Program.

Repetitive Flood Claims Program

Volunteer Fire Company / Volunteer Ambulance Service Grant Program

This grant can be used to purchase or repair fixtures & furnishings necessary to maintain or improve the capability of a company to provide fire, ambulance & rescue, emergency medical or basic and advanced life support services.  It can also be used for the repair or purchase of firefighting, ambulance or rescue services, debt reduction, and training & certification of members.
